Dr Frik has cared for more than 2,600 patients since opening his Oudtshoorn practice in 2023.
Some history
Dr Frik de Jager qualified as a medical doctor at Stellenbosch University in 2006. After several years in general practice, he specialised in ophthalmology and has been working in the field of eye care since 2011. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions.
Having previously been in private practice on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, Dr De Jager returned to the Klein Karoo in 2023. He considers it a privilege to serve the Oudtshoorn community and surrounding towns by providing specialized eye care supported by modern diagnostic technology. He lives in Oudtshoorn with his wife and three children.
